Glorious Grange

So we all went off and had the most lovely week in Glorious Grange-over-Sands.
Great location, Great Accomodation, Great food (as always) Great bike rides, Great pub lunch, not a bad week at all at work and lots of Doggie-based fun, sniffs and cuddles.

All the facial expressions below are quite representative of the week........

 Dad - "when are we going back to the butchers?"

Mum - "Yes Dear - Dobbie is adorable isn't he?"

Dobbie - "Yep - I'm adorable - REALLY scarily cute"

George - "erm - did Dad something about The Butchers?????"

Beautiful Bala

 So I went off to Bala for the most spectacular snowy walks this weekend.

 Tarka learnt how to do ladder stiles and how to negotiate very deep snow and very slippy ice.

We made it up The Arenig despite drifts up to our thighs and enjoyed a well deserved ham and cheese sandwich at the top.

We set off to do Cadre Idris but made the right decision to turn back half way up when we noticed the only footprints in the snow had full-on spikes on them.

 We were very dissapointed but sure we made the right decision after we saw the warden had posted this sign in the carpark after we set off!!!

Good memories of my favourite picture of me and Amber ? pretty much in exactly the same place???
