My 40th is officially Over.

In summary - .....

.........daffsx10, jewellry(x2!!), helium balloons, my dog cushion, my moose hoof picture, the best eggs holandiase ever tasted at Bills, the best wedding ever, the shard, hutong, cyclin' to bakewell,  gettin' the all-clear from dentist-J, champagne with Chit, cycling home, pork delicacies, chocolate roulade with champagne-bottle candles, dobbies fantazi portrait, more helium balloons, Lesley, Barbara, Alex, Ruth, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, voluvants, trifle, fairy cakes (with raisins!!!), the pooh boot journey, 6 bottles-on-the-first-night, my bouquet, more helium, climbing up to the nipple with the most beautiful 360 degree view, my multi-eat-my-face-cake, bill's bed being wrong-again, that non-sausage sausage roll, my smoked salmon breakfast, lasagne, laughing on the veranda with L,D&R, climbing CADER IDRIS (my favourite), THAT curry night, getting lost running with Lisa, admiring Tarka, contented doglet exhaustion, that wine in the pub, tarka overestimating her springiness, THAT roast lamb, all my pressies, planning to go to Daylesford for foraging, L's home-made rose, power ballads, smokin-inside with T!!!, that day on the beach, Tarka discovering its fun to dig, running all by myself up to the trig point, the most-amazing-left-overs, walking with Miss T today..........
did I mention that BEING 40 ROCKS???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Week 3 of My 40th!!!

So me and Dobs went off to Wales for a MAHASEEEVE celebration with Tiny, Tarka, Fi, Gi, Miss Marmaduke, Leon, Billious, Mat, Lady Lisa, Rachel, Danny and Hannah.
It was the uusal - food, booze and walking but on an epic scale.
I had billions of pressies, a bouquet, MORE helium balloons, the BEST birthday cake ever created and generally the most amazing time.
Highlights??? That cake, that Lasagne, Mat carving meat, that cuzza, that roast, Cadre, Bills bed being the wrong way round, everything Danny, late night singing with L&T, the most beautiful rose, runnign in the hills, a day on the beach and finishing it all off with a Michellin star meal.
We had the most amazeballs time in the history of Bala............

Did I tell you I am nearly-40???

So I went home to Notts for the second stage of my 40th celebrations.

I started it off by cycling up and down COMPLETELY hideous hills to see my dentist?!? Yes - that was not an ideal way to celebrate but I DID feel absolutely AMAZING when I got to the top.

I spent friday night with my my god daughters and my good friend Chit in Sheffield for bubbly and a great meal and then I cycled back downhill to a FANTAZI party with lovely old-and-new-friends.

I had more amazing birthday balloons which I LOVE (I bought them all home with me but I promise I will NOT inhale any more helium and then talk to myself in a squeaky voice just because it makes me laugh...!!!!) 

I had amazing pressies (Dobstar captured for eternity)

and Mother did what she does best - the BEST EVAH pork-based products. I literally had to STOP the men-folk eating them all before we had a chance to taste!!!

What a fab weekend

Catch Up

Well what have we been doing the last 3 weeks - having a bloomin' brilliant time - thats what!!!

We kicked off with a visitation from Bill and Zara 

and whilst He and Tiny and Tarks went off for a romantic week in Bridport Me and The Dobstar entertained The Parents in Salisbury town for good food, general pottering, Bills lunches, Organ recitals and a trip to the theatre.

In preparation for a party Dobbie had a shampoo - Mother had been on The Sherry all day by this time and got a bit raucous during the blow dry!!!

We went onto celebrate Tinys birthday with a fantazi dinner party, a visit from Sho and Bex, dinner out with the lovely Sherri, a GREAT fun-filled night at an Alison Moyet concert and much much fantazi socialising.

There has been lot of Doggie cuddling and snoozing

after yet another hideous paw-slashing lots of time cuddling in bed and on the sofa is aiding a quick recovery

There have been some interesting Doggie car rides - with old friends

and new......

(the cutest dog in the world apart from Dobbie ate some chewing gum and needed emergency trip to the vets by "angelic" visiting GP - who knew chewing gum was so toxic???)

MOST IMPORTANTLY MY month-long birthday celebrations have commenced in earnest with

the most fantastically wrapped birthday pressies evah!....(and also suitably fantastic pressies inside)
